Dining with Diabetes During the Holidays
Condell Medical Center’s Dietician Offers Free Advice

LIBERTYVILLE, IL – It’s challenging staying away from those tasty treats during the holidays, but if you are managing a disease like diabetes then the benefits to your health are well worth the abstinence from sweets. Not sure how to overcome the cravings? Condell Medical Center’s doctors and dieticians can help.

Attend a free lecture on Thursday, November 8 from 7 to 8 p.m. and learn how to manage your diabetes and heart health during the holidays. Jerry Myrda, DO, and Christy Burkhard, MS, RD, LDN, a registered dietician from Condell’s Centre Club will discuss prevention and treatment for diabetes and heart disease, especially during the holidays.
